James Dyer Returns
Erith Town are delighted to announce the return of fan favourite, James Dyer, who re-joins The Dockers after a recent spell at Faversham Town.
James needs no introduction to The Dockers’ Faithful and is fondly remembered for his part in the 2023/24 season, when he was a key component of the squad who won the Southern County Eastern Football League (SCEFL) Premier Division Play-Offs, the SCEFL Challenge Cup and the Kent Senior Trophy, a historic treble with James being on the score sheet in the latter two cup finals.
Speaking on James’ return, First Team Manager, Aaron Jeffery said, “I am absolutely over the moon to have James re-join the club. He is someone the whole club knows so well and has such fantastic memories of. Having played with James over the years, I know first hand exactly the impact he can have on games and what he brings to the rest of our squad, and I am very much looking forward to having him play for the club again. We have brought in some tremendous players recently, who have brought a real spark and fearlessness to how they play and now having a player of the quality of James Dyer shows our intent to not just pull away from the bottom four, but to keep looking up and continue the second half of the season with a positive mindset.”
